A warrant has been issued for Curtis Mikel Steffler of Hinton stemming from a robbery and altercation taking place New Year’s Eve in Clinton at a local hotel.

The frigid nighttime temperatures of late may not put one in mind of fishing right now, but — slowly but surely — daytime temperatures are slowly creeping upwards as the first day of spring gets closer and closer. The fishing pond at Acme Brick Park, open year-round, is wellstocked and ready for fishing enthusiasts, said park super visor Rachel Swanson.
