Lifeless tree becomes work of art

At this week’s meeting of the Clinton Board of Education, board members saw results from the first district-wide student survey conducted by Clinton High School’s student council. The report was presented by Kate Dowdell, president of the STUCO’s executive officers.

A story in Thursday’s Clinton Daily News was in error when it said Daivia (Day Day) Simpkins had participated in events surrounding the alleged kidnapping and armed robbery of two men here on Aug. 30. He did not.

The Daily News apologizes for the mistake.

Students donate food
