One of Clinton’s most popular restaurants, Mazzio’s Pizza, is now locally owned after being purchased by two Clinton High School graduates, Ethan Pool and Hector Hernandez. Both men had been long-time employees of the restaurant, so from the outside the transition will be seamless.

A paramedic working out of Weatherford has pled guilty to tampering with labeling and containers for a couple of very critical drugs, says the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Oklahoma, and could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.

Storm victims with insurance will be protected after a bulletin was issued by the Oklahoma Insurance Department. The bulletin directs all insurance companies to keep coverage in effect for storm victims for the next 30 days.

Hundreds of people in Oklahoma prisons may be released in time for the holidays this year after passage of a new law that will retroactively reduce some felony convictions to misdemeanors.
