In an effort to find out more about Clinton’s new outpatient clinic for U.S. military veterans that’s scheduled to open sometime next year, the Clinton Daily News has submitted a number of questions to the Veterans Health Administration.

Four guns were among items stolen in Clinton’s recent spate of automobile and home burglaries, Detective Capt. Ray Hammans said Thursday.

The guns were believed to have been stolen in or around the period from July 10 to July 15. Three were taken from automobiles and one from a house.

Enrollment is now open for the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department’s after-school program for the 2019-2020 school year, said recreation director Morgan Bonnarens.
