Clinton Police have been kept busy lately with a large number of auto burglaries and stolen vehicles reported in the area.

Capt. Ray Hammans said the department is still gathering information, taking reports and increasing patrol times.

PSO has announced it plans to build three new wind generation facilities, parts of which will be located inside Custer County. The project will be completed by the end of 2021 and will hopefully provide construction jobs during the building phase, said PSO spokesperson Stan Whiteford.

In the first six months of 2019, the Oklahoma Insurance Department recovered double the amount of money for policyholders compared to all of last year. More than $5.1 million in claims disputes have been settled with the Department’s help.
