Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry and the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association (OCA) have formed a taskforce with the mission of exploring opportunities that can be provided to Oklahoma beef cattlemen and women specifically in the area of beef packing and processing.
Fewer Oklahoma students took remedial college courses in the most recent data released by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. Cutting college remediation in half is one of the six goals in the Oklahoma State Department of Education’s 8-year strategic plan, Oklahoma Edge.

At this week’s virtual meeting of the Clinton Board of Education, outgoing Superintendent Kevin Hime recommended that annual bonuses for teachers and support staff be cut back this year in anticipation of state budget cuts.
