Graveside Services for Jr. Wright, 69, Arapaho resident will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Vicksburg Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. Near Custer City, officiated by Jeff Johnson and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Albert Wright, Jr., was born November 25, 1951 to Albert Wright, Sr. and Nellie (Long) Wright in Clinton, OK and passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

Jr. was raised on the family farm near Custer City, OK. He graduated from Custer City High School in 1970. He soon joined the Army Reserves and was active duty for about seven months and spent a total of six years of service. He married Rita Jo Lathrum on January 7, 1972 in Custer City. He has farmed most of his life and had a 26 year career with the Custer County as Road Foreman. In 1998 he owned and operated Wright Trucking Company until the present time.

He attended Vicksburg Church most of his life until its closing and most recently he has been an active and faithful member of the Clinton First Christian Church; He loved to grow a big garden.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and an infant brother, Robert Wright.

He is survived by his wife, Rita, of the home, two daughters, Jaymie Deese and husband, Michael, Custer City, OK and Kellie Hoffman, Clinton.

He is also survived by four grandchildren, Caitlin Deese, Peyton Deese, Cooper Hoffman and Riley Hoffman.
