Catherine A. Derenzo was born October 15, 1949, to Phillip Morlan, Sr. and Josephine Yelloweyes at Clinton, OK. She died September 5, 2022, in Yukon at the age of 72.

Cathy was a member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes and was a retired auditor for Lucky Star Casino. She was a contributor and supporter of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Tony Derenzo; and daughter, Anna Morlan.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Derenzo and wife Sonya of El Reno; daughter, Catherine Morlan of El Reno; brothers, Phillip Morlan, Jr. of Concho and Dean Morlan of El Reno; grandchildren; Karson Acosta and Evan Acosta; great grandchildren, Christiana Derenzo, Able Mallorey, Selene Gouge, Ava Mallorey, Elijah Derenzo, T.J. Wolftongue, and Isaiah Russell.

Wake services were held 7 p.m., Thursday, September 8, at the Emergency Response Center in Concho. Graveside funeral services were 10 a.m., Friday, September 9, at Concho Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Panana officiating. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
