Funeral Services of Derek Jordan, 57, Clinton man, will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, November 17, 2023, in the First United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Temple Diehl. The Burial will conclude in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Bessie, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
Charles Derek Jordan was born February 15, 1966, in Clinton, OK, the son of John and Judy Jordan passed away very unexpected on Sunday, November 11, 2023, at his Clinton home.
Derek was raised in Clinton and attended all twelve years of schooling in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1984.
While in high school he was an outstanding wrestler and played football. He continued his education at the Okmulgee Trade School and received a certificate in Diesel Mechanics. He married Misty Jones on November 26, 1994, in Harrison, Arkansas. They made their home in Clinton where he worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas Company. He moved to Yukon and was employed with the City of Yukon in the sanitation department. He returned to Clinton where he was working with O’Reilly’s Auto Parts.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Jordan, biological father, Gordon Stehr, grandparents, Alfred and Hulda Stehr, Opal Abercrombie and J.W. Abercrombie and Marshall and Faye Jordan.
He is survived by two daughters, Ashtyn Armandariz and husband, Jacob, Yukon, OK and Ryleigh Jordan and Kyle Wangsgard, OKC, OK, parents, John and Judy Jordan, Clinton, OK, sister, Jamie Miller and husband, Louie, OKC, OK and brother Tony Jordan and wife, Stacie.
He is also survived by a grandchild, Hudson Wangsgard, Niece Carley Miller, and a special friend Kristi Klump Bomgren, Clinton, OK.
