Funeral Services for Curtis Gilliam 61, Clinton resident will be held 11:00 A.M., today in the Sentinel Church of Christ officiated by Scott Everett. Burial will conclude in the Sentinel Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
Curtis Dale Gilliam was born October 01, 1959 in Clinton, OK to Bertie Lee Gilliam and Dorothy (Sexton ) Gilliam and passed away very unexpected in his Clinton home early Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
Curtis was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1977. While in High School he was very active in Choir. After High School he began a career with Oklahoma Department of Transportation with the Bridge Crew. He also worked with Curtis Cook doing Diesel Mechanic Work. He married Michelle Morgan on October 13, 1979 in Sayre, OK.
He was a member of the Church of Christ; he was an avid Oklahoma University Football Fan; he loved riding motor cycles; playing table top football; he loved to cook and was well known for his ability to smoke meat. He was a good friend to everyone and loved to help others.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by daughter, Jeni Ree Corbridge and husband James, Clinton and son, Justin Curtis Gilliam and wife Malina, Las Animas, CO and the mother of his children, Michelle (Morgan) Wolf, Los Animas, CO.
He is also survived by three grandchildren, Joseph Corbridge, Izabella Gilliam and Drezden Corbridge and numerous cousins.
