A Memorial Service for Darrell Wells, 82, Clinton resident, will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 28, 2021 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Doyle Kinney and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Clinton Cemetery.

Darrell Lee Wells was born March 26, 1939 to W.C. Wells and Charlene (Swearingen) Wells in Visalia, California and passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Darrell was raised in the Stafford community and graduated from Stafford High School in 1957. That same year he began his working career at the age of 18 for the United States Soil Conservation and retired 37 years later in 1994.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kelly Triller; brother, Bruce Wells; sister, Sheila Cranford and a nephew Charles Wells.

He is survived by daughter, Cindy Hicks and husband, Frank, Watauga, TX; son, Darren Wells, Ft. Worth, TX; brother, Bill Wells and wife, Alfrieda, Clinton.

He is also survived by three grandchildren, Angie Hicks, Lee Hicks, and Dylan Hicks and wife Lorin; four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Lynlee, Lawson, and Kennedy.
