David Lynn Fetterolf, 74, of Clinton, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2020. He was born on October 22, 1946 in Grand Junction, CO to Clarence Orlan Fetterolf and Sylvia (Petrik) Fetterolf.

He loved the Lord and was an amazing father and great role model to his four children. He served his country proudly and served as a Medic in the U.S. Air Force. He served his community in Rangeley, CO as a police officer for two years.

He then continued his education and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Science. He worked as a water chemist at Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Power Plant and Public Service Company of Colorado in Platteville, CO until his retirement in 2002.

In 2002, he and his wife, Valencia, purchased the Elk City-Clinton KOA Camp ground in Western Oklahoma which they owned and operated until 2015.

Dave had a passion for flying and could often be found at the Clinton airport working on his Cessna 182. He was an enthusiastic Tae Kwando Black Belt and loved a good game of golf. His sense of humor knew no limits and he was always a joy to be around. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clinton.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Valencia N. Fetterolf; his daughter Cynthia Scherping, Fruita, CO, daughter Ginger Lee and husband Clint, Poway, CA, son, Zachary Fetterolf and wife Danielle, Strasburg, CO, daughter Lara Metcalf and husband Bryon, Severance, CO.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Orlan and Sylvia Fetterolf and young brother, Orlan Dennis Fetterolf and a (step) son James Feather.

He is also survived by seven grandsons, Ben and Paul Scherping, Marshall and Sam Feather, Garin Lee, Jet and Dash Fetterolf and two great grandsons, Beau and Jack Scherping.

He is loved and will be tremendously missed by his family and friends.
