Deven Renee Johnson died March 4, 2022, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. A wake was held Wednesday (March 9) and her funeral on Thursday (March 10). Both services were at the Concho Emergency Response Center with Rev. Gerald Panana officiating. Burial was in the Concho Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Deven was born on June 22, 1978, in Clinton. She attended the Baptist church and worked in assembly for a trailer manufacturer. She was an avid OSU fan and loved the sport of basketball and playing the game.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby “Goon” Johnson of Oklahoma City; mother, Betty Blackwolf of El Reno; sons, Edward Black of Arapaho, Dezmon Perkins of El Reno, and Deveon Johnson of Arapaho; daughters, Newakis Black of San Bernardino, Calif. And Lanay Black of El Reno; brothers, Daniel Blackwolf and Marvin Twins both of El Reno; sisters, Jamye Blackwolf of Oklahoma City, Michelle Twins and Jonita Twins both of El Reno; and granddaughter, Gissel, Lily Rose Black.
Her father, Rickey C. Brown; grandfather, Billy Joe White; nephew, Jose Twins Baxcajay; and cousin, Shannon Blackwolf, preceded her in death.
