Eddie Cruz Gonzales Sr. 68, of Clinton, OK died Thursday September 1, 2022, in Clinton, OK.

He was born on June 30, 1954, to Daniel and Elvira Gonzales in San Antonino, TX.

He had two sons, Eddie Cruz Gonzales Jr. and Daniel Laverne Gonzales.

Eddie Sr. is survived by his wife Sharon Gonzales, two sons Eddie Gonzales Jr. and Danny Gonzales, as well as brothers and sisters: Gloria Schmidt, Daniel Gonzales, Richard “Speedy” Gonzales, Debra Gonzales, Roy Gonzales, Bessie Nava and David Gonzales.

Also, multiple nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Elvira Gonzales and brothers Benny Menchaca, and Bob Gonzales Eddie Sr. played bass guitar in bands like Speedy and the Runaways and Silver Streak. He passed his love and passion for music along to his son Danny and grandson Draven.

He was a big kid at heart! He enjoyed watching cartoons and movies of all types. One of his favorite movie sets was the Harry Potter series. A passion he shared with his son Eddie Jr.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 17th at 2pm at Kiesau Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, OK.
