Funeral services will be held for Freddie Dean Lindsey, 65, of Clinton at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Clinton.
He died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019, in his home east of Clinton.
Lindsey was born Jan. 15, 1954, to Ova and Dora (Deela) Lindsey. He was raised in Weatherford and attended schools in Clinton and Weatherford.
He married Tina Marie in 1973.
Over the years Lindsey worked as a farmer, in the oilfield, and for the City of Clinton. He loved to hunt and fish, and especially loved his family.
Lindsey was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two brothers, Bob Lindsey and Bill Sutton; his daughter-in-law, Candy Lindsey; and a sister, Juanita Musick.
Survivors include two daughters, Lucy and husband Greg Lewis of Thomas, and Trish and husband Chad Boggs of Cordell; four sons, Toby Lindsey and wife Jolene of Clinton, Johnny Lindsey and wife Kileigh of Clinton, Shawn Lindsey and wife Tammy of Clinton, and James Lindsey and wife Kylee of Clinton; two brothers, Delbert Lindsey and wife Melinda of Weatherford, and Merle Lindsey of Clinton; 24 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The service will be officiated by Jessie Musick and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
