Graveside Memorial Services for “Buster” Loving, 77, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the Pavilion in the Clinton Cemetery officiated by Pastor Rick Robart and Dan Day and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
George “Buster” Collier Loving, Jr. was born December 29, 1942 to George Loving, Sr. and Nadine (Cross) Loving in Clinton, OK and passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 in the Corn Heritage Village in Weatherford, OK.
“Buster” was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1961. He continued his education at Oklahoma University in Norman, OK and later graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. He married Janice Shepherd on February 24, 1967 in Clinton. He served in the Army Reserve from 1963 until his discharge in 1968.
He was employed with Oklahoma Employment Security Commissions before serving as District Manager for Sirloin Stockade. He also worked at the Clinton Ice Company. He later moved to Missouri where he owned and operated two convenient stores. He later sold the stores and opened and operated seven different Video Retail Rental stores followed by a family Billiard and Coffee Shop and then he worked with son, Jimmy in an additional video Store before moving back to Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a member of the Clinton First Methodist Church; he enjoyed golf, his work, loved to travel and Oklahoma University Football.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Loving, of the home, two sons, George “Buster” C. Loving, III and wife, Michelle, Rockaway Beach, MO and Jimmy Loving and wife, Jennifer, Ozark, MO; two brothers, Walter Loving and wife, Mary, Smithville, MO and John Loving and wife, Rhonda, Lewisville, TX.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Buster Loving, IV and Lacie Campbell, Forsythe, MO, Sydney Loving Rearden and husband Robert, Branson, MO, Rose Loving, Branson, MO, Logan Loving, Ozark, MO and Jacey Loving, Ozark, MO and two great-grandchildren, Owen and Jake Loving, Branson, MO.
