Glenda Gay Goodwin, 69, of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on July 10, 2024.

She was born on June 6, 1955, to Donald Lee and Fernie (Landers) Tilley in Greeley, Colorado. Glenda grew up and attended school in Corn, Oklahoma.

She married the love of her life, William (Tiny) Goodwin, on March 6, 1972, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to this union were born two sons: Brady and Billy.

Glenda attended Cosmetology school and worked for the Baptist Village for 35 years. She also worked as a cook for the Cordell Public School system for 27 years, recently retiring. Glenda and Tiny owned the Dairy King for 7 years and worked there part-time for 25 years. They also had the Snow Cone stand in Cordell.

When Glenda wasn’t working, she enjoyed being with her granddaughters, she loved fishing and playing bingo. Glenda also enjoyed going to garage sales. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include: Sons: Brady Goodwin & wife Fay, Dill City, OK; Billy Goodwin & wife Jamie, Clinton, OK Granddaughters: Skylar, Sydney, Shyann, Shayna, Kenadi, Sophie, and Phoebe. Siblings: Betty Brinkman & husband Louis, Edmond, OK; Doyle Tilley & wife Linda, Carnegie, OK; Dean Tilley & wife Tammy, Mustang, OK; Doug Tilley, El Reno, OK Special Friend: Celia Lenaburg Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Preceded in death by her Parents: Donald and Fernie Tilley, Husband: William (Tiny) Goodwin, Twin Sister: Gloria Kirkes, Brothers: Darwin Tilley and Delbert Tilley, and Grandson: William Brendyn.

Funeral: Was held Monday, July 15, 2024, Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma
