Chapel Services for Jacquelyn Morlan, 52, Arapaho resident, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 9, 2019, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Doyle Kinney. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
Jacquelyn Arleen Morlan was born January 12, 1967, to Bob and Arleen (Babb) Chadick in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Friday, October 4, 2019, in the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, OK. Jacque moved to McAlester and then moved to Wewoka, where she started school. She later attended school in Clinton, Yukon and graduated from Wewoka High School in 1985. She continued her education at Seminole Jr. College and Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She returned to Clinton and worked for the Quick Shop for a few years.
She married Darrell Morlan on October 12, 1988 in Covington, KY. They made their first home in Ohio and then moved back to Clinton and later settled in Arapaho. She worked for the Robertson Factory in Cordell for several years, served as secretary for the First Christian Church, and then was employed with the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home doing administrative and secretarial work.
She is a member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed following NASCAR, scrapbooking and doing arts and crafts. She finished raising a niece and nephew, Mikka Morlan and Jared Ronan, and helped with nephew Josh Ronan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell; sister, Juli Ann Ronan; and her father, Bob Chadick.
She is survived by her mother, Arleen Harris, Clinton; sister, Toni Lee and husband Troy, Clinton; brother, Robert Hargrove and wife Cindy, Tribby, OK; and brothers, Bobby Chadick and Tommy Chadick, Oklahoma City, OK. She is also survived by her sister Juli’s children that she helped raise, Mikka Morlan and Jared Ronan and Josh Ronan; two grandchildren, Paisleyann Simon and Bentley Simon; and nieces and nephews.
