
Jemma Mae Powell, 25, of Clinton, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
She was born on January 24, 2000, in Anchor-age, Alaska, to Kenneth and Tonya (Stonecalf) Powell.
Jemma was raised in Clinton, where she graduated from Clinton High School in 2018. She was a devoted member of the EDGE Church and was well known in the community, having worked as a store clerk at several local businesses, including Taco Bell, KFC, and Dollar General. Her cheerful spirit and kindhearted nature made a lasting impression on everyone she met— always bringing smiles and laughter wherever she went.
She is survived by her mother, Tonya Powell of Clinton; her father, Kenneth Powell Sr. of Salem, OR; her sister, Miranda Powell of Salem, OR; her brothers, Kenneth Powell Jr. and Levi Powell, both of Salem, OR; her grandparents, Kent and Wilma Stonecalf; and her beloved aunts, Nona Jo Barton and Rohmmey Barton of Salem, OR, who played a significant role in raising her.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Clinton ERC Building, with Gerald Panana officiating.
A traditional wake service will take place the evening before, on Wednesday, April 2, from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Both services are under the direction of Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
Jemma will be laid to rest at Clinton Indian Cemetery.
Jemma’s warmth, joy, and love for others will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
