A Celebration of Life will be held for Jose Lee Gonzales, 80 of Bishop, Texas, at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019, at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Frederick.

He died Saturday, June 29, 2019, in Kingsville, Texas

Gonzales was born March 23, 1939, to Al-vino and Sara Gonzales in Edinburg, Texas.

On Dec. 27, 1958, he married Sara Gonzales.

Gonzales was preceded in death by his sons, Robert G. Gonzales (Bishop, Texas) and Alvin Gonzales (Vernon, Texas).

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Joe Lee Gonzales of Clinton and Johnny Gonzales and wife Deanne of Georgetown, Texas; two daughters, Sara Kay Barrera and husband Ruben of Bishop, Texas, and Brenda Liquez of Kingsville Texas; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Burial will conclude at Fairlawn Cemetery in Snyder.
