Funeral Services for Kenneth Johnson, 86, Clinton resident were held 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 26, 2021 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Doyle Kinney. Burial will conclude in the Mound Valley Cemetery in Thomas, OK under the direction of the Kiesau Lee Funeral Home.
Kenneth Wayne Johnson was born November 3, 1934 to George and Lucy (Tinney) Johnson in Lincoln County, OK and passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 in the Weatherford Regional Hospital.
Kenneth was raised in the Anthon and Putnam areas and attended the Independence School. He has farmed and raised cattle most of his life as well as working for the Dewey County District 1 road crew and retired in 1993.
He was married to Edna Penner-Gibbons in 1965 and she preceded him in death and later married Louise Morgan in 2006 and she preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Dewey County Farmers Co-op; his life surrounded farming and ranching. His favorite thing to do was attend the Tuesday Livestock Auction and his passion was messing around on the farm and attending to his cattle.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wives, two brothers, Virgil Johnson and Delbert Johnson and two sisters, Dorothy Roush and Audrey Rice.
He is survived by his son, Gilbert Johnson, Clinton and sister, Helen Huddlesten and husband, Everett, Marlow.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
