Kevin Patrick Kehoe, 64, passed peacefully from this world to join his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 30, 2023, following a brief illness. According to his wishes, Kevin died at home surrounded by his loving family and precious dog, Peanut.
Kevin was born September 15, 1959, in Baraboo, WI, the son of Lawrence and Lillian Kehoe. Kevin’s mother was divorced and remarried to William (Bill) Radtke in 1969, who raised Kevin as his own son.
Kevin graduated from Baraboo High School, and moved to Oklahoma, where he worked for ODOT until his retirement in 2015. He started there as basic labor and worked his way all the way up as a maintenance manager.
Kevin was into everything outdoors, and if he wasn’t outdoors he was often watching the outdoor channel. He loved to fish and hunt, one of his hunting trips allowed him to bring home a caribou, and another an elk! Kevin married the love of his life, Rene Booth on June 6, 2009. Kevin and Rene enjoyed all things outdoors, including fishing, hunting, travelling with friends, or just sitting in the cool water of Lake Eufaula, where they had recently moved for retirement.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Radtke; his father, Lawrence Kehoe; his step-father, Bill Radtke; his brother, William Kehoe; his sister, Patricia Jeglum.
He is survived by his wife Rene Kehoe of the home; 4 siblings, Rose Ringelman of Summerfield FL, David Kehoe of Baraboo, WI, Daniel and Sheree Kehoe of Madison, WI, and Jeanne Dennis Newman of Ozawkie, KS; 4 children, Jerica and Danny Rolens of Cordell, OK, and Stacey and Derek Carr of Elk City, OK, Kolt and Lexie Booth of Bessie, OK, and Keisha Booth of Clinton, OK; 10 grandchildren; Dayton, Kayler, Divya, Emberly, Kannon, Riggs, Lance, LaChelle, Ayra, and Kash. There are numerous other nieces and nephews as well.
According to Kevin’s wishes, he was cremated; there will be a celebration of life held Saturday October 7, 2023 at the gymnasium in Bessie, OK.
