Chapel Services for Randy “Ragman” Glancy, 64, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 25, 2021 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Richard Vermillion. Private burial will be held at a later date, under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
Randy Lee Glancy was born April 17, 1956 to Jimmie Glancy and Theresa (Moore) Glancy in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away in his Clinton home on Sunday, March 21, 2021.
Randy was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1974; he continued his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1975 and was stationed in Korea before being honorably discharged in 1977.
He returned back to Clinton and worked in the oilfields; he also worked for the Clinton Laundry and Cleaners before starting a career with the Clinton Veterans Center. He retired in 2019 after a 20 year career.
He was of the Catholic belief; he loved riding motor cycles; going on day trips, going to Medicine Park and Grand Lake; he also enjoyed fishing and watching old westerns on television. He was an avid sports fan and was a big supporter of Red Tornado Sports, Oklahoma University Sports and the Dallas Cowboys.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Thomas Glancy and his lady companion, Susan Wilson
He is survived by three sons, Michael Glancy, Moore, OK, Gentry Glancy and Ty Taylor, both of Clinton; two daughters, Lisa Hanson and husband, Mark, Clinton, Kerri Mitchell and husband, Nick, Edmond; sister, Patsy Williams and husband, Gary, Monkey Island, OK and his brother, Terry Jantz, OKC, OK.
He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
