Funeral Services for Raymond L. Littke, 89, longtime Clinton resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Bessie, officiated by Daniel Mosburg and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
The family will greet guests from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at the funeral home.
Raymond Leon Littke was born Dec. 31, 1930, to Adolph and Louise (Reinschmiedt) Littke in Bessie, Oklahoma, and passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020, in his Clinton home.
Raymond was raised southwest of Bessie and attended Guy grade school through the 8th grade. He transferred to Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1949. He attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater for two years.
He farmed in Bessie, where he raised wheat and cattle for several years as well as working for Oklahoma Natural Gas Company as a meter inspector from 1957 until his retirement in 1986.
He was married to Alma Korfman in 1952 in Bessie, and she preceded him in death in 1973. He later married June
(Morton) Burgess June 26, 1975, in Clinton, and she preceded him in death in July of 2019.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, and he enjoyed working in his yard and gardening.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Adolph Littke and Ruben Littke, and step-son, Jimmie Earl Burgess.
He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Littke and wife Vicki, and Jerry Littke and wife Berta, all of Clinton; and step-son Mike Burgess.
He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
