Richard Charles Rousseau, age 57, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine from complications of diabetes and heart-related problems.
He was born in La-Crosse, WI, June 15, 1962, to Edward Rousseau and Betty (Nee: Trotier) Rousseau. The family moved to Eau Claire, WI for a short time and then to Rhinelander. A sister was born in 1966 and then Ed and Betty divorced in 1971.
Richard moved to Texas and then to Southern California where he met and married his wife Tonya McCluskey in 1989.
They moved to Wisconsin in 1994. They had two children, Mikayla in 1996, and Lindsay in 2001.
He leaves behind his wife Tonya; daughters, Mikayla Madison and Lindsay Amanda; his mother, Betty in Racine, father, Ed in Florida; sister Becky (Steve) Simmons and children, Tarryn Lynn and Tyler James of DeSoto, IL; uncle and aunt, Don (Audrey) Trotier and children, Brian, Jeff and Erin and their families.
He also leaves behind his fur babies, Chupini and Guinness.
Rick, as he was known by friends, had hundreds of friends and loved every one of them. He had special relationships with Scot and Kim, Stephanie and Shaun, Mike, Rob, Randy, as well as friends from Rhinelander, Oklahoma, and California.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Edna Rousseau and Leon and Harriett Trotier.
Relatives and friends met with the family from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Maresh-Meredith and Acklam Funeral Home in Racine, followed by a time for sharing memories.
Memorials to the family have been suggested.
