A private family burial for Ronda Munsey, 58, formerly of Clinton, will be held tomorrow in the Arapaho Cemetery, with Jesse Musick officiating and under the supervision of Lee Hometown Funeral Home.

Ronda was born a triplet in Thomas, Oklahoma, to J.D. and Betty Lou (Jones) Munsey on March 14, 1966, and passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, at S.W.

Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Raised in Clinton, Ronda attended Clinton Schools. She was a resilient woman who spent most of her career working for farmers in the Geary and Lookeba areas, where she was known for her skills in fixing and building fences and operating a backhoe. She was also well-known as an animal whisperer.

Ronda loved cats and enjoyed attending powwows.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Linda Munsey and Renda Munsey, her brother Larry Munsey, her grandparents Fred and Pearl Jones, and her uncles Malvin and Jerry Jones.

She is survived by her sisters Tara Hosenhour of South Carolina, Donna Munsey-Champagne of Louisiana, Betty Munsey of Clinton, and Rita Munsey of El Reno; and her brother John Hosenhour, who is currently traveling with the military.
