CHS basketball returns with busy week of matchups

At this point, the Clinton basketball teams are beginning to hit midseason form with six games under their belts and numerous practice/ scrimmage reps, however the teams played just one game each before Christmas break – that’ll change in a hurry this week.

CHS wrestlers battle at tourney

Clinton wrestlers Mason Taylor, top photo, and Trey Bennett, bottom photo, performed well in their first action of the year. Taylor had a winning record through his early matches, before an injury forced him to leave the Weatherford Tourney. He was on track to place well. Bennett won out in bracket play to capture the 170-pound title. CHS returns to action at 6 p.m., Jan. 7, at Catoosa for a three-team dual. CDN
