A-B brings back deep roster

Wednesday the Arapaho-Butler baseball team will come back together for the first time since the spring baseball season was shut down back in early March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The recent commitment of the Class of 2021’s No. 1 QB, Caleb Williams, moved the University of Oklahoma football team up to No. 15 on 247Sports recruiting rankings. The Sooners moved up two spots.

OSSAA’s annual eligibility workshop, like many meetings over the past few months, will be held via Zoom call at 10 a.m. July 28.

Fernandez signs with Rose State

Defenses aren’t getting rid of Clinton soccer’s dynamic duo yet. The Lady Reds’ all-time leading scorer Macey Fernandez announced that she’s joining Aubrey Gonzales at Rose State College.

Lake level is 0.90 feet below normal. All gates are closed. Water temperature is in the lower 80s and clear.

Clinton staying healthy so far

Athletic programs, specifically football, across the state continue to temporarily close weight rooms with reports of athletes contracting COVID-19.

Softball returns to play next week

One week remains, before the Clinton softball team starts summer league games, which will mark the first time the Lady Reds step back on the field in four months since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Newcomb signs with SWOSU golf

A dream was realized for 2020 Clinton High School grad and former CHS golfer Ty Newcomb Wednesday, when he announced he was signing with the SWOSU golf team.
