Summer Playground director Debbie Carlisle has been working with Clinton Public Schools administrators to come up with ways to hold the program this year, but so far only one thing is certain — just like everything else this school year, it’s not going to look the same.
More than $1.3 million in scholarships were offered to Clinton High School seniors this year, and a high number of them are still planning to attend college in spite of the upheavals caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Zachary Otto Sherwood, 27, has been identified as the primary suspect by investigators of the Weatherford Police Department in the shooting death of Ashley Barr, 30, of Weatherford.
The Clinton Police Department remembers its officers lost in the line of duty, during National Police Week, which runs May 10-16.
