WOCS has helping hand

The Clinton community is coming together today to celebrate Clinton High School’s graduating seniors, beginning with the Senior Parade at 11 a.m., a “virtual” graduation ceremony, put together by school staff, at 7 p.m., followed by a “Grad Drag” at 8:30 p.m. along Frisco Avenue.

Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry and the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association (OCA) have formed a taskforce with the mission of exploring opportunities that can be provided to Oklahoma beef cattlemen and women specifically in the area of beef packing and processing.

Fewer Oklahoma students took remedial college courses in the most recent data released by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. Cutting college remediation in half is one of the six goals in the Oklahoma State Department of Education’s 8-year strategic plan, Oklahoma Edge.
