Up to 130,000 Oklahomans with past due child support may not receive the new stimulus checks being issued over the coming weeks and days under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, due to another federal law, the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996.

Clinton High School’s Class of 2020 will miss out on important rites of passage which generations of Clinton graduates have been able to take for granted — prom night, a frenzy of senior week activities, not to mention the graduation ceremony itself. But in spite of the coronavirus social distancing rules in effect, each student’s accomplishment will still be honored in a very public way.
The Clinton Police Department continues to take serious precautions when it comes to COIVD-19 (coronavirus).
According to information released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health, there are no longer any active cases of the coronavirus in Clinton.
