On the original Clinton High School football field bleachers — now part of Nance Elementary School’s playground — pre-k, kindergarten and first-grade students show their school spirit by positioning themselves to form the number “100.”

Graveside services will be held for Houston Butcher, 84, of Houston and formerly of Putnam, at 10 a.m. today at Mound Cemetery in Taloga. He died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, in Katy, Texas. Services will be held under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
