With its postseason hopes on the line, the Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians softball team (25-8) took down the Burns Flat-Dill City Lady Eagles softball team with ease Thursday in Arapaho as the Lady Indians won 12-0 in three innings during game one and 13-1, also in three innings, during game two to advance.

To open the district schedule of its season, the Clinton Red Tornado football team (0-3) will be taking on its biggest rival, the Weatherford Eagles (3-0) in the “Custer County Conflict” at the Tornado Dome.

On the night all about recognizing its senior, pitcher Piper Sawatzky, the Arapaho- Butler Lady Indians softball team (22-8) pulled out a close 4-1 home win Monday over the Hydro-Eakly Lady Bobcats.

The Clinton Red Tornado football team (0-3) ended its non-district schedule with a 32-7 loss Friday to Chandler on the road.
