As the softball season moves along, the Clinton Lady Reds (3-6) and the Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians (7-2) endured the heat to play against each other Tuesday in Arapaho with the Lady Indians winning 8-0 in five innings.

Due to recent issues with the greens throughout the course, the annual Labor Day Golf Tournament at the Riverside Golf Course will not be held this year.

Clinton softball earns wins in festival

With the 2024 softball season in full swing, the Clinton Lady Reds (3-5) headed west Monday on I-40 to take part in the Elk City Fastpitch Softball Festival held at the Elk City 5-Plex Softball Fields. There they faced the Yukon JV softball team for the first game and won 8-5, and the Del City Lady Eagles to end the day winning 4-3.
