CBA leaves Beaver in the dust

CORN – The Corn Bible Academy football team stayed in the hunt all night, despite multiple, first-half turnovers and a rough start, and scored on back-to-back touchdown drives late in the fourth quarter to capture its first win of the season Monday night, 38-32, over Beaver.

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) announced Tuesday that all football teams will make the playoffs this season, as a result of lost games due to COVID-19.

Clinton grad has Redlands golf winning

EL RENO – Clinton grad and current Redlands women’s head golf coach Taylor Sliauter (Neidy) has the Cougars off to a tremendous start this year, guiding the team to three wins in its four fall tourneys.

Coleman goes distance as starter

Few athletes can ever say they were a four-year starter, and Clinton softball senior shortstop Loren Coleman is one that can put that on her résumé.
