The Clinton junior high football teams went 1-2 versus Weatherford’s squads Thursday night at home.

Senior making two-way impact

There was a void in the Clinton wide receiver group entering the 2020 season, and it needed a few players to step up in order to fill what was lost to graduation.

The No. 10 Red Tornadoes (4-1 overall, 2-0 in district) take down their second-straight ranked opponent in the No. 7 Cache Bulldogs (3-3, 1-2) and pick up a big district win on the road.

Atrel Bryson takes the wildcat QB keeper for 16 yards and the lead. Clinton leads 7-0. A would-be interception by the Reds is pulled away and in by Cache's Ethan Hood to tie the game from about 30 yards out. Game is tied 7-7.

Alexia Barker

The Arapaho-Butler softball team (23-13 overall) defeated No. 20 Hydro-Eakly in the regional tourney opener, before dropping two games to end its season. Alexia Barker, pictured, and the Lady Indians won their first district title since 2015 this fall.
