Red Tornadoes face best test in title

As it should be to compete for Class 4A’s gold ball, the No. 9 Clinton football team (8-3 overall) faces its toughest opponent yet, in the No. 1 Wagoner Bulldogs (13-0), at 1 p.m. Saturday at UCO’s Wantland Stadium.

Arapaho-Butler sweeps two straight

ARAPAHO – A nearly three-week hiatus due to COVID-19 couldn’t slow down the Arapaho-Butler basketball teams, sweeping Burns Flat-Dill City and Corn Bible Academy Friday and Saturday night respectively.

BLANCHARD – For the second straight week, the Clinton football team had the lead, had the ball late in the fourth quarter and needed just a couple first downs to clinch another upset, playoff win Friday night in the Class 4A semifinals.

NWOSU inducts CHS grad into H.O.F.

Former Clinton football star, Northwestern Oklahoma State national champion and NFL alum Brandon Christenson received his university’s highest athletic honor, as he was inducted into NWOSU’s Hall of Fame in a press release last month.
