WEATHERFORD – The Clinton baseball team (4-2 overall, as of Friday morning) lost its first game with a nearly full starting roster, dropping a 7-2 decision to I-40 rival Elk City on opening day of the Weatherford Tournament Thursday morning.

Zero defensive errors, zero runs allowed and just enough offense, lifted the Clinton baseball team (4-1 overall) to a 3-0 win over rival Weatherford Tuesday night at home.
It was a full first day back at practice for the Clinton softball program Monday, as the middle school and high school began team camp together.

Success is a constant in the Clinton baseball program, and it finished week one with a strong, 3-1 record, including three straight wins to open up summer play.
