CHS wrestlers battle at tourney

Clinton wrestlers Mason Taylor, top photo, and Trey Bennett, bottom photo, performed well in their first action of the year. Taylor had a winning record through his early matches, before an injury forced him to leave the Weatherford Tourney. He was on track to place well. There are four teams that’re ranked between Clinton and Arapaho-Butler heading into the post- Christmas winter athletic schedule.

As wild and unpredictable as the 2020 college football season has been due to COVID-19, it still features many classic programs in big games, and the Cotton Bowl is no different, with No. 6 Oklahoma (8-2 overall) and No. 7 Florida (8-3) meeting at 7 p.m. tonight.

Powell fights through foul
