Cedric “Son” Dean Prairie Chief Jr., lovingly known to many as “Son,” passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 47. Son was born on January 21, 1977, in Culbertson, Montana, to Cedric and Phyllis Faye (Buck Elk) Prairie Chief Sr., and was a proud member of the Native American Church.

Margarita “Maggie” Perez Roque, age 42, a lifelong resident of Clinton, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in Clinton. Born on May 22, 1982, to Victor and Esther (Perez) Mendez Jr., Maggie’s life was deeply rooted in her community, and her pride in Clinton ran deep. She often told her family, “Once a Clinton Red Tornado, always a Clinton Red Tornado,” and graduated from Clinton High School in 2001.
