Dwight A. Penland, 79, a longtime resident of Canute, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in Elk City, Oklahoma, with his beloved wife by his side. Born on December 12, 1945, in Knoxville, Tennessee, he was the son of Luther Curtis and Lucille (Runion) Penland.

Funeral services for Mary Etta Statser, 90-year-old, Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, were held Monday, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Carson and Daniel Mosburg officiating. Burial followed in Stafford Cemetery, west of Clinton, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Coleman “Bryan” Roberts, 63, were held Sunday at The Heart of Truth Church in Hastings.
