Beutler set to retire from Southwestern

During Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s annual Media Day Luncheon, SWOSU President Randy Beutler confirmed that he will be retiring on June 30, 2021, and the university will be having its comprehensive accreditation visit in September.

Officers responded to the Clinton Police Department for the report of an auto burglary, officers took a report.

Support beyond the court

Sweet peaches

Clinton High School choir member Hunter Staggs lifts a couple of boxes of peaches and takes them to a buyer’s car. These peaches are a major fundraiser for the vocal program. 

During Hunger Action Month, individuals can join the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.

Every September, the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks take action in the fight against hunger.

The Sexual Health and Harm Reduction Service of the Oklahoma State Department of Health has recently received an additional $2.15 million in funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to support ending the HIV epidemic in Oklahoma.
