As of press time on Friday, no one else had come forward to file their candidacy for one of the four open Custer County offices up for re-election, nor for the open seat currently held by Harold Wright, District 57 State Representative who will be term-limited out after 12 years in office. Clinton attorneys Juan Garcia (D) and Anthony Moore (R) have filed to run for his seat.

Social distancing won’t stop Easter

Easter Sunday will be yet one more casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the strict social distancing guidelines in place to prevent its spread.
