By a 4-0 vote the Clinton City Council once again condemned the Glancy Motel property at 217 Gary Blvd. The action was a result of the owners of the property failing to meet deadlines to begin making repairs that were agreed on in February.

The U.S. Department of Education has granted preliminary approval of waivers that would allow Oklahoma school districts some flexibility in how they spend federal funds. Outgoing Superintendent Kevin Hime said the waivers would be a good thing for Clinton, because they could help keep people on the payroll.
For a week now the number of confirmed reported cases of COVID-19 for Custer County have remained stable at five.
Clinton class of 2020 senior Jessica Jefferson receives part of her cap and gown package from junior-senior counselor Brenda Louthan. The cap and gown will be worn for a virtual graduation ceremony to be held at 7 p.m. May 15 on Tornado TV.
As of press time on Thursday, no new candidate filings had been received at the Custer County Election Board or Oklahoma State Election Board for four seats that are open in Custer County, or at the State Capitol for the open District 57 State Representative seat.
